Starsky & Hutch

I just finished watching Starsky & Hutch, the movie starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. It was mildly amusing, with fairly weak writing, and not much of a story. Stiller and Wilson certainly have proven themselves capable of much funnier stuff. Zoolander was way better, maybe due to the fact that the characters were theirs to create. In this movie they seemed to sleep-walk their way through most of it, only occasionally showing up for a scene or two. The car chases were only there because of necessity and even they seemed out of place. I don't often get a chance to watch an entire movie and feel somewhat cheated. Maybe, I expected too much, but I don't think so. I didn't expect anything, except maybe to laugh.
